Atlanta Trip Rehersal on Dec. 26th!

Band Parents;

Reminder that rehearsal on Dec 26th is from 2PM to 4PM. Bring your one piece of luggage with you.

Also, we will need some help loading the pit equipment and other stuff on the truck. If you can help out be at the school at 3PM.

Final Atlanta Trip Payment Due!

Band Parents;

The final payment for the Peach Bowl was due on Dec 15th. Total for the trip is $800. We still have quite a few students who have not paid in full and who have not submitted a payment plan.

Please submit your payments as soon as possible.

Peach Bowl Practices!

Please don't forget the Atlanta trip. In order to be successful and have great performances, we have to practice.

I understand that students are going into winter sports, but we must work out a compromise with the schedules. Listed below are the practices for the rest of the season. Please make arrangements. Marching Band is still a class with grades based on attendance.

Bowl Game Practices - Include Field Show and Peach Bowl

Tuesday November 21 2:30-4:30 (Due to Early dismissal on Wed)
Wednesday and Thursday November 29 and 30 2:30-4:30
Tuesday December 5 2:30-4:30
Friday December 8 2:30-4:30
Wed and Thur December 13 and 14 2:30-4:30
Wed and Thur December 20 and 21 2:30-4:30
Tuesday December 26 3:00-5:00 PM This is the day we ship out.

Mandatory Peach Bowl Trip Meeting!

There will be a mandatory Peach Bowl meeting on Dec 5th at 7PM. Location is the auditorium. All students and at least one of their parents/guardiansmust attend.

We will be discussing departure times and procedures, packing list, behavior codes, etc.

Peach Bowl Release Form Must Be Turned In Before Oct. 15th!

Everyone participating in the Peach Bowl must fill out a release form and turn it in before Oct 15th. THIS INCLUDES ALL ADULTS - CHAPERONES AS WELL AS TAG ALONGS! IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT A FORM, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIP.

Forms are available in Mr. Pearman's office and on the website to download and sign.

This is a requirement from the event coordinator. We must submit all forms to the coordinator.

Peach Bowl T-Shirt Orders!

We have the chance to order tshirts or sweatshirts from the Peach Bowl. The cost is $18 for t shirts, $25 for sweatshirts, and $30 for hooded sweatshirts.

Order forms must be submitted along with payment by Oct 15th. Forms are available in the band room and will be on the website.

It in not a requirement to purchase a shirt - it will not be part of the uniform for the trip or any events.

We will not place any order without money.

Shirts should be in mid December.

Attached is the commitment form for our participation in the upcoming Peach Bowl. The form needs to be printed, filled out, and signed by both the student and the parent/guardian. For those families with more than one child in the band, we need a form for each student.

The form includes the payment schedule - starting on August 18th. If you cannot afford the payment schedule as shown you can request a payment plan to cover the expense of the trip. The payment plan form can be found on the website. We will work with anyone who may be concerned about financing the trip. Remember that you can use your student account to help cover the cost of the trip. Again, we welcome and encourage early payments prior to the 18th. You can send in a check or student withdrawal form to the band PO Box - address is:

While the form states that the commitment form needs to be completed and turned in by August 18th, we would like as many as possible on the first day of band camp.

As we get more information from the event organizer we will pass it along to everyone.
